About the Role:

In this role as a Driver Manager for Jacko Logistics you'll be responsible for being a positive member of the operations team, making sure you are retaining drivers, maximizing your driver's miles, and working closely with our service and operations departments to meet the company's needs. You'll work closely with our leadership team to make sure your assigned trucks are meeting their mileage goals, ensure you're keeping up with their needed preventative maintenance, and making sure you're building great rapport with your drivers to keep them happy and retain them. Additionally, you will be responsible for making sure your drivers are picking up and delivering their loads on time as well as ensuring drivers get home for their approved home time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be responsible for training, supporting, managing and retaining drivers which includes the following tasks:

  • Ongoing Promotion: Selling the company qualities and values to new and tenured drivers.


  • Ongoing Learning: Willing to spend time at the shop and in the yard to meet the people and actually get to know them and their jobs.


  • Willing to occasionally take after-hours calls to support our team.


  • Communication: Always strive to be the best communicator, with your drivers, load planners, service team, and each company department.
